OUR STORY
safariiiCAMP was founded by a collective of artists across the Bay Area, united by a shared vision: to create a sustainable future through our craft, take ownership of our creative journeys, and build a space where artists can thrive together.
Our inspiration comes from three powerful sources. The Magic Treehouse reminds us that with the right environment and resources, anything is possible. Odd Future embodies the fearless pursuit of creative expression, pushing boundaries without compromise. The Black Panthers exemplify the strength of unity and the transformative power of community.
What began as a small group of seven artists working out of a 1,000-square-foot loft has grown into a thriving creative hub. In under two years, we expanded across three locations before establishing our current 10,000-square-foot space—now home to over 30 artists. Through collaboration, resilience, and a commitment to our community, we have built something lasting.
safariiiCAMP is more than a workspace; it’s a movement. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on expanding access to resources, fostering innovation, and empowering artists to push boundaries together.
The way these works of art, artists and organizations influenced us, we believe art doesn’t just inspire—it builds, educates, and mobilizes. It provides jobs, activates public spaces, and amplifies voices that need to be heard, making real change possible in communities.
what we offer
safariiiCAMP is more than a workspace—it’s a home for artists and a thriving creative community. Here, you have full access to our warehouse, with the freedom to establish a dedicated workspace that supports your craft. Our collective is built on collaboration, where resident artists not only pursue their own work but also share knowledge and resources to uplift one another.
Beyond the studio, we create real opportunities for artists to grow. Our monthly night market provides a platform to showcase and sell your work on your own terms. We encourage collaboration, allowing artists to form teams, take on projects, and expand creative possibilities together. At safariiiCAMP, you're not just gaining access to a network—you’re becoming part of a community that values connection, support, and shared success.
We also a offer a photo studio for rent at an affordable price, a resident run business A Film Lab and a ceramic studio that will be opening on April 16th.
Our community
Our community is made up of artists across diverse disciplines, including photographers, filmmakers, graphic designers, musicians, ceramists, jewelers, clothing designers, painters, and leather artisans. At safariiiCAMP, artists share spaces with others in their field, creating an environment designed for focus, craft, and growth. As new residents join, they bring their tools, ideas, and energy into a workspace that has been shaped by those before them—separated by storage but united through a shared space.
Engage with our community by attending events, exploring our monthly market, or connecting directly with our resident artists for commissions and projects. Whether you’re looking to support local creatives, hire an artist, or experience the work being made here, safariiiCAMP is a space where artistry thrives and evolves.
